Romance Psychic Readings And The Murder-Suicide Warning
When I was in law school, I made my one and only lasting friend from that program.
She confided in me once that her sister died in Florida and was murdered by her husband in a murder-suicide. She never told me the details.
Years later, as I was on the phone with her catching up on life, I saw a vision of her sister.
She began showing me gruesome details of her death. She confirmed details about her hair and what happened that only my friend would know.
She said she didn’t like how her hair was crunchy after her death and complained that it wasn’t done properly by the funeral home.
In fact, my friend said her sister had beautiful wavy hair, and it had been practically crushed due to the blood-soaked gunshot wound and the ensuing funeral preparations.
And then, after this confirmation of her sister’s presence and story, the message switched to my friend’s daughter as a warning about not trying to fix men and not trying to make dangerous relationships work.
My friend confessed that her daughter was in a toxic relationship with a young man who eventually became violent and stalking. The parents intervened, and the daughter broke it off.
The sister said:
“You can’t fix a sick man. He will not change. He has to change on his own. You have to leave that relationship and fix yourself.”
It was a dire, frightening warning.
This young woman fortunately took my advice.
My friend said, “You know, Leslie, my sister had a master’s in psychology. And yet, even knowing all the signs, she moved to Florida with him and was still murdered by the man she loved most.”
If the irony isn’t there, then I don’t know what to say.
Because you can see all the signs and still walk past them to your death.
Romance Psychic Readings In Castelnaudary Were A Wake-Up Call
Fast forward.
I moved to Castelnaudary and gave tarot-by-the-minute readings.
Thirty percent of the readings were what the French call “sentimental.”
Women and men stuck in toxic relationships. Violent, deceptive, and destructive relationships. Relationships I witnessed growing up in my own household.
My parents would have killed each other except for divine intervention — me, watching their every move.
You know, my mom used to say to my aunt and to people, “If I end up dead, you’ll know who did it.”
What kind of marriage is that?
I would violently shake at the idea of coming home to a sleeping man who would wake up and once again choose violence: beat my mom, find tools to hurt her, throw things everywhere, smash holes in the doors and the walls, take off and cheat, and then come back pitifully, weeping, begging for forgiveness.
And because my mom did not want to get a divorce for religious reasons — and, frankly, because the economic system punishes and sidelines “manless” women — she couldn’t afford to leave him if she tried.
She eventually did.
But it was not surprising that she married my terrible, mean, and verbally abusive stepfather — a pastor, even more hilariously — six months after the divorce was final.
It always made me wonder, as a side note, if she had already hitched her cart to another abusive bastard while making the transition.
Romance Psychic Readings And The Big Fat STOP Sign
Then recently, I got a desperate Instagram message from a young woman.
It reminded me of the story of Romeo and Juliet, actually.
She said she desperately needed to meet with me as soon as possible because she needed an objective opinion on a matter.
I didn’t know what it was. I read it and went to sleep.
I asked Spirit to show me what to tell her.
It was a big fat STOP sign sticker slapped onto the window of a car.
I asked her to send an email with the details, and I told her I’d see if I could help her.
I didn’t tell her about the symbolic dream because I wanted to know exactly what this was all about.
I went to Lourdes after getting her email.
I wanted to wait until the evening to respond. I don’t know why, but it was necessary to wait.
I came home, wrote the email, and sent it.
She wrote back saying, in short, “Thanks, but no thanks. We decided to make it work.”
I said everyone has free will. Everything can change on a decision. That is life and death, actually.
I told her it wasn’t necessary to update me or message me again.
Time would tell.
Romance Psychic Readings Become Dangerous When People Reject The Answer
Another woman messaged me a month before that, saying she absolutely needed my perspective on a romance matter.
I hate these types of questions.
But I obliged.
Without telling me any details, I explained: this seems like an energy harvest. It’s all good now, but it’ll drain you.
She wrote back saying that my reading was all wrong and that maybe I had gotten it inverted.
She said she would take my reading “with a grain of salt,” which actually means my credibility was in question.
Sure. Question me, I guess.
But when you ask me to ask Spirit and I give you an answer you don’t like or want, then I guess it’s really between you and God.
But sure, take the free reading and my track record for honesty along with a grain of salt.
It was, for me, a real fuck-you, friendship-ending moment.
Romance Psychic Readings Make Me Flinch
When I face women like this — and I see that they are careening off a cliff — I flinch because I remember the story of my friend and her sister.
And the gruesome murder-suicide.
I have done readings for women who are with sociopaths.
They still stay.
They still give them money.
They still get hurt.
Maybe I should blame my sensitivity on my Jupiter being in Aquarius.
I want people to go beyond their human limitations and see the prison walls they are
building around themselves.
Perhaps it is because I know how the story ends.
I know how children get hurt and traumatized and live with the mess long after the
violence has subsided.
Men and women who are in violent, toxic relationships become part of the destruction,
too, because without putting a stop to it, they perpetuate it.
And I am not saying that to blame victims.
I am saying that because at some point, you have to own your own toxicity in order to
stop the poison from hurting yourself and those who depend on you and love you.

So, I hate relationship readings for this very purpose.
They are the worst — not because of what comes up, but because people don’t listen.
They actually don’t want to hear the truth.
They want to psychic-spy and continue the toxic dynamic.
It is extremely rare to have a reading with someone who says, “Enough,” and gets out.
I have read people who take years to get out, only to find themselves in the same toxic
patterns again.
Romance Psychic Readings Are Not Just A Women’s Issue
This is not a gender-specific issue.
Men do it, too.
Men hurt their children and families to stay in toxic relationships with women.
One man was pissed that his ex-wife needed child support because she was “too
materialistic,” saying he didn’t have the money to support her.
But then, within no short time, he would buy gifts and purses for his girlfriend.
I scream:
Make it make sense.
Romance Psychic Readings Should Be A Brutal Mirror
If you go in for a relationship reading, don’t ask the reader about the other person.
Do not ask:
“What are they thinking?”“Do they love me?”“Will they come back?”“Are they my
soulmate?”“Is this relationship meant to be?”
Ask the reader to give you a brutal psychic bitch slap to help you see and own your own
toxicity, your own habits, your own attitudes, and your own traumas.
And then go see a psychologist, because that is who you really need to see to deal with
these issues.
So, if you ever think about asking me for a reading on relationships, don’t.
