When people talk about angels, it’s usually with reverence. Unlike other spiritual experiences, angelic encounters almost always evoke peace. In my own experience, angels are like firefighters of the spiritual realm—they show up during emergencies, bringing safety and calm when the world is on fire.

👧🏽 Growing Up in Chaos

As a child, I lived in a home riddled with domestic violence and emotional neglect. My parents fought violently, often late into the night. I would hide and watch, traumatized, acting like a referee at the ringside of their conflict. It was terrifying, relentless, and left deep psychological scars.

🚪 Hiding Under the Bed—and What I Saw

One night, after a particularly violent episode, I hid under my twin bed, eyes fixed on the door. I feared for my mother's life. Then something extraordinary happened: a pair of massive, luminous white feet walked past my door. They were wearing old-fashioned Roman-style sandals, trailed by a flowing white robe.

At that very moment, the screaming stopped. A blanket of peace fell over the house. My body relaxed. I fell asleep.

🕯️ Verified by My Mother Years Later

Years passed before I told anyone. When I finally shared it with my mother, she froze and said, “Yes, I remember. I was praying. And then peace just came over me.” She confirmed that night out of hundreds. That was the moment I knew—I hadn’t imagined it. I had seen an angel.

👣 Not Human—But Light

The feet I saw were not like a white person’s skin. They were white like light, radiant and otherworldly. I don’t believe angels belong to any human race—they are light and love in form. And others have seen similar beings. When I’ve shared this story, other women said they saw the same exact vision. Perhaps angels look the same across cultures and lives.

What I’ve learned is this: when we’re in crisis, we must cry out for help. Not just to other people, but to the force of love itself. That’s when angels show up. Not always to change the situation—but to transform it by their presence.

I now live in a peaceful home, and I live by this principle from Edgar Cayce: “Make your home a place where an angel would want to dwell.” I no longer need rescue. I’ve built safety, love, and joy into my life—and I encourage you to do the same.
